I just wanted to post a thread here thanking Daniel so much for his patience and generosity when sharing 功夫茶 Gongfu Cha.
I was in Vancouver this past week from the Kootenays (in the BC interior) with my Gongfu Brother Neil Ripski and his students. Daniel opened his shop to us as a second home, tolerating our gang of sinophiles as we crowded the store. He was very patient with our little tribe of martial arts nerds that filled the place like a tiding of magpies; clucking, touching and oogling all of the trinkets.
Daniel, I believe we all came away completely inspired and energized. Thank you and your family for such generosity.

Today I was able to practice my Gongfu Cha by serving a Japanese woman who is skilled in the Chanoyu ceremony. She very excited to have someone serve her tea for a change and I was grateful to be able to share with someone having a refined tea palate. Such fun.
As one of the students there, I also extend my many thanks to Daniel, it was truly a great time. I plan on doing as much Gong Fu Cha for both myself and my family as I can, including my Gong Fu family. Thanks again for your hospitality, Daniel!
